it is ironic - the team in question lost the all-ireland semi-final a couple of years ago but protested - very strongly - that the opposition had fielded an ineligible (unregistered) player. They won the first appeal and lost the second (or it might have been the third) and so the result stood. They were not happy at all. Now it is alleged they fielding overage player(s). We'll see what happens. Meanwhile, across at the DDSL, those at the top stand accused of not dealing properly with inelgible players. It is hard to avoid the conclusion that football stinks. And as for it being 'all about developing the playes'.....give us a break .
