hi hellfury , this is a tricky one , i hate to think any adult would take pleasure in a youngster getting seriously injured in a tackle , but unfortunately there are some strange people out there, and your right these sort should not be allowed near a team , however on the opposite side of this debate, i personally witnessed something similar at u11 football 2 or 3 weeks back , however what happened on this occasion was , a hard (but fair) tackling midfielder for the home side was putting in a lot of hard tackles on the opposition , however they were 100% fair and most were on players bigger than him , but because he was coming out on top , the away team manager start telling his players to go to ground every time they were tackled , they were literally diving every 50/50 tackle made, and play acting , their manager then screamed constantly at the referee to have a word with the midfielder, the referee unfortunately fell for these tactics and spoke to the player and put him off his game, the home team manager encouraged the lad by screaming good tackle and keep doing what your doing (this was 100% the correct thing to do in my opinion as the child was challenging strongly but fairly , so my point is it really depends on the context of the game /situation.

It depends on the game in question and the age of the players, there are a lot of Ronaldos around now too who could win an oscar for their rolling and crying, I have seen this even at under 8's!!! Did you do anything yourself hellfury? Did you rush to help the child? Mayeb it was a great tackle, I am sure the grown man in question didn't wish the child to come to any harm.
