Went to the Crumlin/Lourdes game but it didnt live up to the big billing it was getting,Crumlin very comfortable winners and could have had another 4or5 if they had pushed on and taken their chances,Hopefully the league cup semi final will be a better contest.

No idea what game you were watching keano... 3 Crumlin goals came against the run of play and the second half was fairly even.. Perhaps Lourdes even had the better chances in the second half. The scoreline didn't reflect the game I felt

Keano regardless of the result on Saturday Lourdes celtic are very proud of the team in how the conducted themselves and didn't turn it into a kicking game. Would like to congratulate crumlin on their victory and well done to Martin Loughran and his staff on the day the pitch was roped off pitch looked great and fair play to both sets off supporters that was there it was a victory for the area and the rivalry between both clubs with no bullshit. But back to the game it was over in the first 15 min but the boys tried to push on and I felt we where the better team in the second half and crumlin caught us on the break but we wish crumlin all the best in the cup and hopefully it's a corner turned between both clubs and for the community. Well done to Darren ben and Stephen on producing a great set off lads that will push on and develop. Well done again

Two Cork teams in the semis, Midleton and Temple. Is that unusual, at the younger ages 11,12,13 and 14's don't the Dublin teams usually dominate? I am not saying that a team from the South will win it, but just surprised to see them in the semis. Also surprised that the Inter-league U13 neither the NDSL or SDFL have progressed to the next stage. I understand at the older ages, U15 and 16, the teams outside The Capital catch up with Dublin leagues due to loss of players cross-channel. Is there a slight shift in talent at the younger age level or have the leagues in the East slipped, or have the rest progressed?

I wouldnt read too much into it to be honest. Its a knockout competition and not a fair reflection on football and the quality of.I would add however that some of the clubs outside of Dublin and its environs have really improved in the coaching and playing departments. This will mean better opposition for the country teams which has been sadly lacking in recent years. No, I dont see anything significant in the fact that two of them are in the semis.
