Thats not a true analysis of their development programme , how many of the players in the older age groups played for their U9 teams ,and how many are still with the club .

Seeker im not been smart here but what are you talking about , if a player went up to you and asked can he join your club,he is better than half your side what do you do turn him away ,what if 5 players came up better than what you have do you turn him away what if 10 players came up better than what you have it goes on every club in the universe does the same , tell me all about development then seeker cause im lost , any player who is techically good will always do well regardless of size as this balances out but if he dont have a football brain you cant feed it , besides most players in ireland are coached out

Development is a commitment to the players that you will try to cater for all their football coaching needs ,most importantly coaching their brain , and this takes time for all players . Taking on new players because they are more advanced than the ones you have is not a commitment to development of players, its a commitment to winning and using words like "development "as no-more than punch-lines . So I,ll ask you again how many players from your clubs academy sides have progressed into... let,s say U12 team .

At Kevins you get to play with the best, have the best coaches, good facilities and the best players, untill a player better than you comes along!Thats part of football !
