Growup thats exactly what you need to do lad!!.I have been away and lad its one tough life I can assure you, are you aware that for every 100 lads that go away only 4 make it as in a contract, thats a scary statistic. I have heard it all b4, these scouts are there fpr a reason yeah, yes its flattering but as a parent I must ask this little fellas parents to keep it at that FLATTERY... untill he is of an age where he can mentally deal with what is a great opportunity but its a hard life, home sickness is what gets to most if not all of us, I simply wasnt good enough, thats what I was told, one day your a bright rising talent and the next its, good luck nice knowing you!!. BE CAREFUL AND BE VERY PRUDENT IN YOUR DECISIONS FOR THIS BOY!!, over the weekends games I had been speaking to 1 or 2 of the U12 Premier managers and its of general agreement that 13 years is simply not right, he will not hack it.Wingman
