McILROY GOES FOR YOUTH

Sammy McIlroy will use Northern Ireland's upcoming friendly with Macclesfield Town on November 12th to blood some youngsters in the green jersey.

Only four full internationals have made the squad for the game against McIlroy's old club. They are Maik Taylor of Fulham, Stephen Robinson of Preston, West Ham's Grant McCannn and West Brom's James Quinn.

A number of those included are U21 internationals however.

Northern Ireland squad: D Miskelly (Oldham), M Taylor (Fulham), H Dickson (Wigan), M Duff (Cheltenham), S Robinson (Preston), L Burns (Port Vale), S Holmes (Wrexham), T Capaldi (Birmingham), S Jones (Crewe), O Morrison (Sheff Wed), C Toner (Tottenham), G McCann (West Ham), W Carlisle (Crystal Palace), S Carson (Dundee Utd), W Feeney (Bournemouth), J Quinn (West Brom).
