EIRCOM LEAGUE PREVIEWS

Shamrock Rovers v Bohemians

Richmond Park, 7.35.

Bohemians make the trip across the Liffey to face eircom league leaders Shamrock Rovers in a bid to gain their second victory in succession.

Pete Mahon's side have only picked up two victories, with the latest a 3-0 win over Galway United last weekend, since Rovers ended their four game unbeaten run at Dalymount in early September.

Hoops boss, Damien Richardson, will have to plan for the game without the suspended Pat Scully and Marc Kenny, who is still sidelined with an ankle injury. However, Greg Costello and Stephen Grant (both calf), Billy Woods (back), Sean Francis (hamstring) should all recover in time for tonight's game.

Form Guide: Rovers: WWDDW, Bohs: LLDDW. Previous: Rovers 0 Bohs 0. Top Scorers: Rovers: S Francis 7, Bohs: Crowe 11. Prediction: Home win.

Galway United v Dundalk

7.45, Terryland Park.

Galway United welcome fellow strugglers Dundalk to Terryland Park tonight, hoping to recover from last week's 3-0 defeat to Bohemians.

Tony Manion had the perfect start to his third stint at the Tribesmen, watching his side record an 8-0 victory over Monaghan United, and could move to within two points of Dundalk with a win tonight.

Martin Murray's side will be looking for their first win in five outings, but will have to plan for the clash without Donal Broughan, Aaron Callaghan and Chris Lawless, who are all suspended.

Form Guide: United: LLLWL, Dundalk: LLDLL. Previous: No corresponding fixture. Top Scorers: Ryan 3, Bohs: Robinson 4. Prediction: Away win.
