But despite a shaky start to the season from the Premiership champions, United are only three points behind league leaders, Leeds.
And Keane warns: "We are definitely not firing on all cylinders at the moment but we're as confident as ever that we'll be there or thereabouts at the end of the season," said the former Notts Forest midfielder.
"It is no good picking on individuals or even just the defence. We attack as a team and we defend as a team. It was the whole team which gave three sloppy goals away in the first half at Tottenham. But we got over it and we could have scored six or seven at the other end."
