STELLA MARIS ARE GOING FOR GOLD

As they enter the last day of the Ian Rush Tournament, Stella Maris continue to fly the Irish Flag proudly, as their under 14, 15 and 16 teams are all still in with a chance of winning their respective trophies in today's 3 finals.

Home Farm who have made a big impression over here with their attractive style of football were surprisingly beaten by a big and tough Canadian team 2-0. Despite creating a number of good chances and being many peoples favourites they go out.

The Brenfers League, Northway Rangers from Finglas needed a win to progress to the semi finals but could only manage a draw and they go into the todays games playing in a 5th and 6th place play off.

Sherrif United's three teams acquitted themselves very well with all of their side recording victories along the way, unfortunately for the Dublin inner city squads they failed to progress further than the quarter finals.
