Heroes of the past will take to the field including Liverpool Legends John Aldridge, Alan Kennedy, Jan Molby, Phil Neal, Paul Walsh, Ronnie Whelan, John Wark and Ray Houghton among others.
The Man Utd side will be finalised in the coming weeks but the likes of David May, Clayton Blackmore, Denis Irwin, Ben Thornley, and Mike Duxbury and Mickey Thomas have all been confirmed.
32 Legends plus celebrity managers will be taking part in the one-off game at Terryland.
The match will be followed by a gala dinner at the Clayton Hotel later that Saturday evening which will be attended by all the Legends who participate in the game as well as other celebrities.
Current Galway United season ticket holders will be allowed 14 days exclusive access to purchase four tickets before they go on general sale. These Tickets will go on sale from Friday Morning, April 4rd, at the Galway United office in Terryland Park. They will be also on sale at Galway United's next two home game against Longford Town on Tuesday 8th of April and Cork City on Friday 11th of April at Terryland Park; Kick-off 7.45pm.
A limited number of tickets will then go on general sale from Terryland Park and local Ticketmaster outlets from April 18th.
