The Dublin and District Schoolboy premier division side extended their unbeaten run to three years with a 2-0 victory over St Kevins Boys on the weekend and have won every major honour in their respective age group, including two SFAI Cup trophies.
Their brilliant run is reminiscent of Paddy Hilliard's Farm side, that went unbeaten for five years in the 90's and more famously, Joe Fitzparick's all conquering side that still occupy the Guinness Book of Records, for their match winning sequence of 79 games between 1968 and 1971.
However, Garvan is quick to play down any comparisons between his side and the ones before. "It is a tremendous feat for us to go three years unbeaten," said Garvan. "But to be honest, I do not want to tempt fate and say that we are hoping to out-do the Home Farm teams before us.
"Besides if everyone is all of a sudden aware of the fact that we have been unbeaten for so long, everyone is going to up their game when they play us. We have a brilliant side with excellent players and we are just going to concentrate on the next game. I'll leave it to everyone else to keep an eye on the record books."
