Danone Champions

The honour of representing Ireland in the 2008 World Finals in Parc De Prince, Paris from 5th - 7th September has been bestowed on Shelbourne FC.

A "world Cup" style competition for U12's, played over three days, with forty participating countries - the Danone Nations Cup World Finals is a massive event - its FIFA approved, supported by the FFF and endorsed by big names like Zinedine Zidane.

Saturday's National Finals were contested by the winners of the seven regional tournaments that took place across the country from March - Willow Park (North West Region), Abbeyleix Athletic (South Leinster), Shelbourne Utd (DDSL), St Joseph's (DDSL), Corinthian Boys (Cork), and Trim Celtic (North Leinster), Killarney Celtic (South West ) and New Ross Celtic (South
