Wolves central defender Joleon Lescott looks set for a move to Everton after the clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old had been linked with Premiership new-boys Reading and Spanish outfit Sevilla but has travelled to Goodison Park for a medical and to discuss terms.
"We have been in discussion with a number of clubs interested in signing Joleon and have agreed a transfer fee with Everton," chief executive Jez Moxey told Wolves' official website.
"Joleon is this morning undergoing a medical examination and, subject to the outcome of that, we expect to conclude the transfer which will reflect the player's value."
