Robbie Keane had an eventful day on Sunday as Spurs romped to a 4-1 win over fellow European chasers Bolton at White Hart Lane.
The Republic of Ireland international found the net on two occasions but was denied the chance of a hat trick when he was sent off in the 36th minute.
Keane received his marching orders when he handled Ivan Campo's header on the line to give the visitor's a slight chance of a comeback.
However, a late strike from Aaron Lennon ensured Spurs were not to be undone and move up to ninth in the Premiership.
