Diouf on drink driving charge

Bolton striker El Hadji Diouf is due in court today on a drink-drive charge.

The Senegalese international was stopped by police in a black Mercedes in Blackburn on November 1 and later charged with drink driving.

The incident, which occurred hours after his side recorded a 1-0 win away to Charlton in the Premiership, sees him appear at Bolton Magistrates' Court later today.

Diouf has never been too far away from controversy and has served two football bans for spitting.
