Robert Pires could be on his way to Villarreal after admitting his agent has had talks with the Spanish outfit.
The Arsenal midfielder has been offered a one-year extension to remain with the Londoners but the 32-year-old is keen on securing a longer-term contract.
"It's true that there has been contact between Villarreal and my agent," said the 32-year-old midfielder.
"I haven't made a decision yet. I've played many years at Arsenal and it's a difficult decision to make."
