Zinedine Zidane has confirmed he will retire after the World Cup finals.
The France and Real Madrid midfielder has one year remaining on his contract at the Bernabeu but injuries have dogged him over the past couple of seasons.
"It's my decision and it's final," Zidane told French television channel Canal+. "I have to listen to my body and I cannot carry on for another year.
"I think it is better to clarify the situation now."
