The Inter Milan forward who appealed and lost to the Italian Football Federation is now going to court in order to clear his name.
He said: "This sentence is not fair but I still have hope that I'll be able to play before the end of 2001. And I hope I'll be allowed to play in Italy. "I just can't accept the idea of staying away from the field just when I would have the chance to have a great season with Ronaldo and Christian Vieri. "I did nothing wrong and I hope I will be able to step back on the field soon. While in the meantime I keep on working hard just like everybody else."
