The 20-year-old used to play for Benfica's fierce rivals Sporting Lisbon and was taunted by the home support whenever he touched the ball during United's 2-1 defeat on Wednesday.
"We are aware of the incident but don't yet know if any action will be taken," a Uefa spokesman told the Sun.
"We will know more in a day's time.
