Champions League draw

Champions League draw Chelsea will have to repeat the feat of last year and beat Barcelona in the second round of the Champions League if they hope to continue their run in Europe's most prestigious club competition.

The Blues squeezed past the European giants last season over two legs after an enthralling affair and will have to repeat the achievement after being paired with the Spanish giants in Friday's draw.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have an equally tough task after landing Real Madrid in the second phase. Madrid may be six points behind Barcelona in La Liga but they still provide mammoth opposition for an Arsenal side currently reeling after two successive losses in the Premiership.

Liverpool will face Benfica, conquerors of Manchester United, while Rangers will be confident of making further history after landing Villarreal.
